Google Insight – New Search Engine Keyword Analyser
As part of Googles ongoing commitment to help and improve the quality of service they provide advertisers and marketers, Google have just launched the Beta version of amazing new product, Google Insight. It’s very similar to Google Trends but it has been designed to work purely by keyword and search term.
It allows an advertiser or marketer to directly search it’s historic database and view keyword performance which can be used as part of Search Engine Optimisation. If that wasn’t enough it also allows users to filter the data by location, sub region, date and category. The result are populated in a graph and detail keyword performance over time including search volumes. It also quite cleverly associates news headlines to the historic path of the chart, allowing the user to identify key points which could have resulted in an increase in keyword popularity.
Considering this amazing tool is still only in a beta version, we can honestly say that with this type of information being made available, the online marketer and advertiser will be able to improve the quality of keyword driven campaigns, which should open the playing field for a more user friendly marketing experience.
